Two beautiful F1 females, born 22nd October - being hand reared and growing well
After having bought two stunning F2’s & a super stunning F5 silver boy from Gayzette. The most fantastic day of our lives was without a doubt bringing home our beautiful & stunning 62.5% wild blooded F1 female Gayzette Bumbleweed in August 2011. I was never more excited while waiting to receiving her at the airport to be able to see & hold this unique treasure. This pretty princess has the sweetest temperament & in the first few hours after we let her out of her box she immediately started to bond with us all at home. My experience with this unique & rare cat is unsurpassable & just gets better by the hour. Thanks to my dear friends Pauline & Frank Turnock of Gayzette I have learnt so much about the earl generation Bengal that I am now totally addicted & cannot wait to get my second F1 in the very near future.

Bumbleweed is the first F1 breeding female we have ever had & we are so proud to have got her from the two most dedicated & honest Bengal breeders in the world Pauline & Frank Turnock of Gayzette Cattery in Scotland. We cannot but thank these two exceptional friends for giving us the pleasure & honor of owning such a wonderful and unique girl. I have the deepest respect for these wonderful, hard working & patient couple that have guided & helped us understand what a real Bengal is all about. We are so looking forward & exited to seeing what this girl & the rest of the Gayzette Bengals will give us in the coming years but most of all we are looking forward to meeting this wonderful & amazing couple in the very near future because they are now part of our family. Thank you Pauline & Frank you are great & unique.

Your loyal friends forever

Bengal Bengal
Bengal Bengal
I can not speak highly enough of Pauline and Frank, they are utter credit to breeders and animal lovers.

After the sad loss of one of our other bengals my partner found their website and many forums speaking very highly of them and that's where it started.

Initially after a boy, Pauline went above and beyond to find my special kitten and 2weeks later here we are with Castielle (Cally) an F2 marble female who has been here only 4 days, but it feels like she's been part of the family forever. Pauline helped with the transportation, was outstanding in everything and Cally met me on a motorway service station early Wednesday morning. She came down with another of Paulines customers who raves about her and the fantastic set up she has up in Aberdeenshire. After an 8hr drive she was good as gold, straight to litter and water and even tolerated my 2 other crazies who were a little put out.

She is exactly what Pauline described. An amazingly social little girl who just loves to play, bounce around and then crawl up asleep on us purring so loudly even in the deepest of sleeps. She has absolutely no fear whatsoever, everything is an adventure and its so obvious how she isn't a normal cat. I think it's a 50/50 mix of early generation and just incredible care and rearing from day 1. At the moment she's absolutely tiny, all purrs and paws that are amazingly strong so we have had to put a collar on her 3 times her size just to hear where she is. She's full of strange little noises, love and trust. Her appetite is huge tucking straight into her mince and chicken eating far better than veggie hubby. She adores water, we have even put a few inches of water in the bath for her and some toys and she just didn't want to get out. She loves all her toys and now they are playing with her, her new brother and sister too. I could honestly watch her antics all day and I am convinced she watches mine and mimics. She has sussed how to hold a glass, touch her collar then my necklace repeating it over and over and she has also worked out you need to hold the iPhone in both paws and pat it ?.

There are some bad things said about the early generations, about them being a bit difficult, but saying that there are a lot of bad things said about bengals in general. We have had 5 over the years rescues and kittens alike and found them to be nothing but adorable, but I can honestly say you will not regret a kitten from Pauline and Frank, I think they may have sent me a puppy dressed as a cat.

Based in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, the only cattery in the UK capable of producing F1's from a brand new UK line
Frank and Pauline of Gayzette Bengals, based in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, welcome you to visit our web site. Here you will see our stunning home bred F1 Bengal cats by Leopard Cat ‘Sarez Apollo of Gayzette’. You will also see F1 Bengal cats bred from Leopard Cat ‘Sarez Little L’ and also some bred in the early days by Michael Pont, and which were later owned by Esmond Gay of Sarez.

The beautiful Bengal cat is a unique combination of its stunning ancestor the Asian Leopard Cat and the domestic cat. These ALC/domestic mixed felines were created in America by Jean Mill who bred and registered her cats under the “Millwood” prefix. The Bengal cat has developed into a breed that produces various colours, brown, black and snow spotted and brown and snow marble and now the fabulous silver, all with the most stunning range of eye colouring.

The Bengal is of average size and is extremely athletic, particularly in the early generations. We have found F1 Bengals to be extremely strong, easy to feed and keep, and contrary to the opinions of breeders who have never met or kept one, these cats live happily in the company of people and are not dangerous. They are very vigorous, healthy cats, and with our bloodlines (Sarez Apollo of Gayzette ALC UK) crossed with our wonderful Llandar National Velvet (of Sarez) females, we have developed early generation cats with fantastic friendly temperaments, with pelts that feel like silk and with tremendous glittering. All the rare F1 females that we’ve bred to date have been retained as breeding queens, bringing our total of F1 females to 11.

For much more written information on our cats, the Bengal breed and its full history, their colours, early generations, the Leopard Cat and much more, please go to our “Bengal & ALC Info articles” page and read the 8 highly comprehensive features by renowned expert C. Esmond Gay. You will also find many amazing Bengal and wild cat photos inside both the 70 pages of articles and also in our photo gallery.

LATEST NEWS!

For many years now we have tried to breed F1 Savannahs in the UK - this is not an easy thing to do as the Serval would not naturally hybridise ie mate with a cat of another species.
This year we have succeeded in breeding what we believe is one of the first genuine F1 Savannahs UK bred - our young Serval male Gayzette Asita -TICA Reg. has been brought up with three Savannah females and this year our hard work and patience working with these fabulous complex cats has been rewarded and we now have Gayzette Kamil TICA registered F1 Savannah Uk bred male kitten. Already at six weeks of age he is twice the size of an F1 bengal of the same age, he is bright, intelligent, outgoing and an absolute delight to live with. He has been hand reared from two days of age and this shows in his fantastic temperament

Misuse of photographs!
It has been brought to our attention that certain other "breeders" and websites, both in the UK and the USA, have stolen and are making fraudulent use of photographs from this website!

This form of "scamming" is both distressing to us and to potential owners of Bengal and Serval cats - please use great care when choosing a Bengal or Serval cat and make detailed checks as to the validity and probity of the seller.

A great deal of useful information on these "scams" can be found here www.drzoolittle.net/scams.html
